Your article states, "McAllister is one of the longest-serving Democrats in the state House and for years has been a member and leader of key appropriations committees. She is in her ninth term." Such incompetence may well be at work right now in the appropriations committees in the creation of the state budget. Or more accurately, the non-creation of the state budget. Sort of makes you proud of the able and ethical people we send to Raleigh, doesn't it? Term limits, anyone?
