(Cont) What stance have your local
elected representatives taken recently to keep
your living expenses low or lower? You may know if you take the
time to read
Letters To The Editor, but does your neighbor know? Who goes to
local
Precinct or their preferred Political Party meetings, answer;
almost nobody.
That my friends is the real problem.
So here we are in Eastern North Carolina focused, watching
intently an Iowa
Caucus where less than 1% of the eligible voters in that state
are making a
Presidential Decision for the Major Political Parties of their
state! Then
it's off with snow shovel and gloves to New Hampshire.
Where will you be next time your politics and future are being
discussed and
someone is shoveling snow or political manure? Will you pick up
the phone
and find out where these political decisions are being made. Or,
will you
just go on watching the process in New Hampshire, then South
Carolina, or
your favorite TV game-show? I know you just don't have time to
get involved,
but I'll bet you'll find time to gripe and gritch later.
